With Teleola and Edidem, food is the language of love and we absolutely agree! Their love story started in the most unlikely of places, their office kitchenette. Now, that is an interesting story to tell your children.
In January 2018, Teleola had just started working in a law firm when she met Edidem. They had their first-ever conversation right after a training session at the office – he walked up to her, said “hello” and mentioned that she looked like a gospel artist, Chee. She didn’t think so, so she just smiled and went on with her life. Little did she know they would have another interesting conversation in May of the same year in their own office kitchenette! On 28th May 2018, Teleola was in the office kitchenette after work when Edidem came to talk to her. They had a conversation during which he told her that he didn’t have her number and gave her his phone to save the number. That was how it all started! Long texts led to more interesting conversations and video calls. Soon, Teleola and Edidem realized they liked each other! 😍 Teleola confessed that she liked Edidem a lot because he was a true Christian and did everything he could to support her on her journey with Christ.
Although Edidem relocated to England after getting a job, the love held strong and they became official on the 8th of September 2018. Edidem could no longer wait to be with his love so he came back to Nigeria to propose to Teleola on the 24th of April 2019, and as you may have guessed – she said YES!
